Build-up / breakdown wristbands must be worn during build-up and breakdown. Wristbands should be collected from the vehicile holding area when you arrive with your delivery. If you would like your wristbands sent out in advance please contact kathy.bryant@inside-events.co.uk with the number of wristbands you require and the address to which you'd like them sent. Further wristbands can be collected at the venue if necessary.
A delivery slot will be allocated to each exhibitor in advance. For the hall opening hours on build-up and breakdown please refer to the Event Timetable section of this manual.
Due to the high volume of vehicles during build-up and breakdown, drivers are required to unload/load and remove their vehicles as quickly as possible so that others can use the space. It is recommended to wear high vis when unloading/loading your vehicle. There is no parking at the venue.
Porters will be on site to assist with delivering your items to your stand.
Couriers can deliver to the venue’s main entrance on Old Street at any time during the hall open hours. If sending items by courier please ensure you include your name, contact number and stand number in the delivery address. Please refer to the Event Timetable of this manual for timings.
Loading for these spaces is from the main entrance on Old Street, EC1V 9LT. There are two public loading bays just outside the front of the venue. These are marked out on the road under the Overground bridge and outside Homeslice. The times for these loading bays are 10am-4pm, and after 7pm; there is a maximum stay of 20 minutes. Porters will be on site to assist with delivering your items to your stand.
There are 8 external steps up to the ground floor level of the venue.
The goods lift entrance is on Rivington Place, EC2A 3BA, at the back of the building. The largest vehicle that can fit on Rivington Place is a 7.5t rigid. There is no official loading bay here so we ask anyone delivering or collecting to keep an eye on their vehicle. Tickets are rare at the back of the building. We will have staff in this area and porters to assist with delivering your items to your stand.
The goods lift enters in to the Old Servery (the space next to the Assembly Hall) and there are
just a few steps to manually lift between the Old Servery and into the Assembly Hall.
The lift dimensions are 1.4m wide x 1.6m deep x 2m high, with the door into the Old Servery from the lift measuring 0.9m wide x 2m high. The maximum weight loading for the goods lift is 1 tonne.
